7 Cozy Home Deals Just in Time for Fall | Reviews by Wirecutter

It’s time to put away the sunscreen and ice cream: Autumn is here. While the weather hasn’t quite gotten the memo yet, summer has just ended, meaning cooler days and brisk nights are in our near future. As much as we love the heat and fun in the sun, fall is the superior season. It’s the perfect time for mulled cider, stylish coats, and watching your favorite games, movies, and shows. That’s why the Wirecutter Deals Team has found seven fantastic deals to help you breathe a little life into your home and help you enjoy the season.

Duxtop 9100MC induction cooktop (gold) Deal price: $58; street price: $73

What we like: Great no-frills machine for a good price. Simple controls ideal for infrequent or tech-averse cooks.

Other things to know: Does not maintain a set heat or temperature as well as other picks. You have to pay closer attention to cooking and adjust temperature more often. Only gold color on sale.

Samsung S95B OLED TV (55-inch) Deal price: $1,600; street price: $1,800

What we like: Uses a QD-OLED panel that combines the perfect black levels, high contrast, and huge viewing angles of OLED technology with the vivid color saturation and high brightness of quantum dots.

Other things to know: Does not support Dolby Vision HDR. Only available in 55- and 65-inch screen sizes. New low price for the 55-inch size.

All-Clad D3 Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 10-Piece Set Deal price: $525 with code VIP; street price: $700

What we like: Heated evenly, comfortable to hold, and tackled every cooking job without any hiccups during testing. So durable that it will likely last a lifetime.

Yamazaki Plain Coat Hanger Deal price: $75; street price: $108

What we like: Slimmer than most, with a small base that’s easier to fit into a tiny entryway. Has a cute and whimsical design we love.

Other things to know: Doesn’t have the capacity to hold a lot of heavy coats and jackets. The six hooks aren’t customizable. Only the black color is on sale. Far from the previous low but the best price in over six months.

Meross MSL120 Smart Wi-Fi LED Bulb (two-pack) Deal price: $21; street price: $27

What we like: Works with Apple’s HomeKit without needing a hub. You can trigger it to turn on or off based on any other smart-home device. Less expensive than most other HomeKit-compatible bulbs.

Other things to know: Compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, IFTTT, and SmartThings. Doesn’t have as great of a brightness range as our two top picks.

Utopia Bedding Comforter Duvet Insert (king) Deal price: $29; street price: $40

What we like: The best sub-$50 option that we’ve found. This down-alternative comforter is good for those with allergies to goose or duck down.

Other things to know: Might be fine to use without a cover, but we still recommend using one to extend its life. Not quite as robustly built as some of our more expensive picks. Great deal for the king size. On sale in white and plum.

Cuisinart Power Advantage Plus 9-Speed Hand Mixer (brushed chrome) Deal price: $48; street price: $78

Other things to know: This mixer is a bit loud and awkward to handle. Only brushed chrome color on sale. New low price with clipped on-page coupon.
